Job Description:

• Build, develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers who deliver high performance in ethical and quality standards, sustainable manufacturing practices, on-time delivery, & price.

• Play a key role as a liaison in sourcing, procurement, quality, and product development.

• Find & vet out the right manufacturing partners that align with Comfort Research’s core values.

• Develop new fabrics as per PD requirements.

• Follow-up to ensure on time delivery.

• Review quality issues from QA or factories and give solutions/feedback.

• Visit polyester fabric mills to discuss price, quality and capacity as required for supply chain.

• Give updates on the latest developments/technologies in fabric/dyeing/printing.

• Identify the need for new suppliers and sources of appropriate suppliers.

• Maintain relationships with fabric mills and cut and sew vendors.

• Other duties will be assigned by the Sourcing Director.

 

Expectations:

• Working Location: China

• Must be available for weekly Teams calls with the US team either early morning or late evening.

 

Job Requirements:

• 5-7 years’ experience in textiles for garment/apparel/furniture company.

• Proven – strong skills in communication, negotiation and problem solving.

• Time management and computer literacy.

• Fluent in English communication.
