I. BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB

- Manage Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) operation.

- Manage a group of quality engineers.

- Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.

- Directs subordinates on day-to-day basis to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.

- Understands and follows guidance to ensure work is performed efficiently. Can make decisions within normal operating conditions.

- Implement 3D models, blueprints, quality engineering documentation for new or revised products.

- Collaborate with Engineering and Prototyping Centre to transfer the required quality process and product customized application specific products.

- Translate quality engineering documents into Vietnamese as required supporting Quality (Works instruction, Setup Sheets, Tool Sheets, Operator inspection sheets).

- Recommend and implement improvements to quality processes, methods, and controls.

- Establish quality standard operating procedures for current or newly improved processes.

- Create, modify CMM programs and deploy FAI for new products, processes.

- Participate in Lean, Six-sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and yield enhancement activities.

- Follow, monitor quality planning and shipping.

- Develop skill-set training program of quality operators.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree as Mechanical Engineering or another relevant specialization.

- At least 5 years of related experience in high precise machining manufacture.

- Experience in running CMM machines.

- Knowledge about hard metals cutting conditions.

- Knowledge 3D model design software such as SOLIDWORKS or relevant.

- Professional skill in reading 2D drawings and understanding GD&T deeply.

- Well-developed trouble shooting, problem solving and analytical skills.

- Handle special assignments promptly and professionally.

- Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency.

- Excellent at MS Office.

- Good command of oral and written communication skills, in both Vietnamese and English.
