Job Description:

I. JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Educational Background:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science in one of following specialisations: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Heat-Refrigeration.

2. Working Experience:

•  2+ years of relevant working experience in Electrical/Electronic/Heat Refrigeration in manufacturing environment.

3. Special Abilities:

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot for manufacturing.

• Ability to repair and perform the maintenance for manufacturing’s equipment routinely.

• Experience in AM or equivalent systems, PM, 5W (Or other Problem-Solving Tools), Downtime.

• Ability to use AutoCAD, Mechanical Design Software.

• Ability to perform backup and edit PLC program.

• Good experience in PLC, HMI, inverter, stepper, servo motor, industrial communication protocol.

• Ability to use English communication.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Jointly responsible, with the production staff of NIR, QA sections, Process Engineering, Relevant Sections.

• Access to some manufacturing methodologies and proprietary process information.

III. AUTHORIZATION

• Report quality high risk events to supervisors.

• Report unsafe behaviours to supervisors.

• Report to next managing levels when my supervisor does the wrong thing without the correction.

IV. JOB CONDITIONS

• Exposure to a variety of compounds, solvents and chemicals.

• Works in standard office/manufacturing environment.

V. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT MAINTAINNANCE (30%)

•  Perform all aspects of Equipment maintenance activities/tasks to minimize downtime.

•  Familiar with machine operating system and able to troubleshoot the manufacturing machines.

•  Preventive maintenance is properly carried out and recorded.

•  Equipment breakdown are properly repair and at the best available time.Make work improvement to reduce the downtime of critical machine.

•  Review and manage the spare parts as well as the safety stock, inventory reserve, lead-time and variance between physical and system. Make technical report as routinely.

•  Lead the daily meeting and assign tasks to team members and follow up as priority based on Production impact.

•  Follow up with other Dept. to ensure the facilities/parts/Manpower are meet the expectation and minimize impact to production activity.

•  Take the responsibility for the KPIs, cascade and follow up with team members to ensure the expectations are met.

2. TECHNICAL LEARNING AND SHARING (20%)

•  Through the daily activities, create the “One Point Lesson” and other SOP, WI.

•  Support or conduct the Technical Training to improve the knowledge for other team members.

•  Coach and qualify the new comers. Create complex electrical drawing can apply for using, publish and training to lower level

3. AM/PM/CM (20%)

• Coordinate and support the Autonomous Maintenance activities.

• Coordinate with relevant teams to setup the preventive maintenance as weekly/monthly routinely and report.

•  Review and revise the Work Order to improve the Preventive Maintenance quality regularly. Lead the Team to perform the root cause failure analysis and investigations (CAR) properly.

4. 5S ANDIMPROVEMENT (10%)

•  Do the housekeeping and keep the work place clean at all-time.

•  Propose and lead team to implement the improvement ideas and Kaizen to improve the working condition, reduce losses and saving cost.

5. EHS ANDSECURITY (10%)

•  Follow and compliance the Environment-Health Safety requirements.

•  Feedback the un-safe and security behaviour with other team members and contractors.

6. IMPROVEMENT (10%)

•  Initial and leading improvement’s project Accountability for DMAIC.

•  Develop high work standard which can publish and apply to work.
